Triumph the insult comic dog reports the weather in Hawaii

Ever since we moved to Hawaii, we always laughed when the weather portion of the news came on.

Coming from the East Coast (New York / New Jersey - referred to as “the Tri-State area”) famous for its Nor-Easters (nothing to do with the holiday - just the wicked STORMS that blasted through) we were used to relying on the weather channel to find out what the next day held for us, in order to figure out what to wear, what to drive, how much snow we’d have to deal with, yadda, yadda, yadda… You know the deal if you’re from the East Coast.

But the only excitment watching the weather portion of the news here in Hawaii would be watching the little icon/graphic of a little palm tree swaying in the wind. If it was heavy winds, you’d see the green little graphic palm tree icon swaying waaaay over.

Well - apparently, Triumph the insult comic dog feels the same as we do. (good to know we’re not alone!)
